IDA WYNONA KERR STEPHENSON

Compiled July 1972 from information received from Wynona Stephenson.

 

Wynona was the tenth child born to Marion Joseph and Ella Rebecca Merrill Kerr. She was born on May 10, 1905 at Ora, Idaho and lived there on the family farm.  She attended Ricks Academy.

 

She was married on May 10, 1913, to Jesse Stephenson. They have three children: Max, Luana and Maralyn.  Max is now a doctor practicing in Eugene, Oregon. He and his wife Anne have four children: Sally, age l5; Becky, age 13; Robert, age 12; and David, age 6. They have a lovely home and enjoy a close family life. They ski, go on backpack trips, water ski and are very active as a family.

 

Luana is a lawyer and a partner in a law firm in Oakland, California. also enjoys a full and active life.  Maralyn lives in San Francisco and is a medical technician at letterman Hospital. She is now the Head of the Bacteriology Department and has represented the area of her work at clinics in Atlanta, Georgia and in Boston. She has just returned from meetings at Chicago. She and Luana have enjoyed several trips together and are planning another trip to Europe this fall. They have had several trips to Hawaii.

 

Jesse and Wynona are now retired and enjoying life very much. They live in Rexburg, Idaho, and are busy with church and community activities and traveling.  They find much pleasure in their home and with their friends.
