Dream My Life Away

 

I get up early in the afternoon

'Cause my nights are filled with a musical moon.

And I love my mighty fine bed.

I'm going to dream my life away.

I'm going to burn my English books today.

I need an easy going world.

I'm going to dream my life away.

 

All I love to do

Is chew the fat with a friend or two.

And I like to shoot some pool

And dream my life away.

 

I'm worried that I might sweat;

School work hurts.  It'll kill me yet.

I know where my pleasures lie.

I want to dream my life away.
